THE ANALOG VIDEO ARCHIVE CONVERSION PROJECT - TECHNICAL REPORT

This Artifact is a techinical report I created by collecting, summarizing, and editing several work related documents, emails, and proposals I have generated over a 15 year period. 5,000 hours of video content is a large and valuable amount of time and material to preserve. The broadcast business has experienced dramatic shifts in workflow and technology over the years and preserving legacy content is a step that must be considered when moving forward. This project in real life is almost complete and my submission of this report was shared with all the facilities in our company to be repeated at other stations.
